Protest #2 Fokus 3 protesting Duet - Hearing time 1715 approx, Chatham Room.

- result: protest upheld, on course penalty taken, damage not considered significant enough for disqualification. 

Notice of Race Amendment #1

Section 18 INSURANCE is deleted and replaced with the following:

"Section 18 INSURANCE

Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum coverage per incident of $2,000,000 CAD for Canadian residents and $500,000 USD for residents of other countries."

Notice of Race Amendment #2

Section 4.1.1. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY is deleted and replaced with the following:

"4.1.1.  Are registered with either PHRF-BC or PHRF-NW and have a valid 2022 certificate from one or both of those authorities; or"

Section 15.1 SCORING is deleted and replaced with the following:

"15.1.  Scoring of races in each of the Distance and Around-the-Buoys divisions will be based on PHRF-BC ratings, corrected with a time-on-time calculation. Boats that registered with PHRF-NW ratings will have their ratings adjusted to an equivalent PHRF-BC rating. Scoring of the Cruising Division will be based on a system devised by the Organizing Authority."

The last sentence of Section 3.4 is deleted and replaced with the following:

"Additional tickets will be available after 1500 Saturday in the bar of the venue from Sharon Taekema of Royal Victoria Yacht Club’s food and beverage staff."
